The KW1000RC-Lead(1)-Chloramine(1) is a dual filter replacement cartridge set that is the ideal selection for under sink drinking water filtration systems that require (2) industry standard dimension cartridges. The industry standard filter referenced is 2.5' (W) x 9.75" (L). These are non-proprietary filters that have the standard "double open end" configuration.
The second cartridge in series is our KW2510 Chloramine reduction filter. This extruded activated carbon block filter is made of catalytically charged active carbon. Typical activated filter cartridges are not effective in the removal of chloramine. Chloramine is a combination or chlorine and ammonia. This filter is capable of 1,200 gallons of Chloramine reduction and 1 gallon per minute flow rate (up to 2,000 gallons at 0.5 GPM flow rate).
