It is vital to understand that the Filtersorb SP3 is an up flow water conditioner. The catalytic precipitation process will only effectively work if the media lifts as the water passes through. Therefore it is essential the system NOT BE OVERSIZED. Be advised bigger is not necessarily better. The PWF1054FS is ideal for households and commercial applications with flow rates up to 15 gallons per minute.
To further enhance up flow efficiency we employ the Enpress Vortec distributor plate. This provides uniform distribution of the water which lifts the filter media optimizing the precipitation reaction.
